Ireland has one of the highest asthma rates in the world, and yet many people with asthma are not managing their condition as well as they could – often because there is a general lack of understanding about the condition.

That’s where we come in.

We offer practical, evidence-based asthma education sessions delivered by a fully qualified asthma nurse, tailored specifically for:

  • Workplaces – supporting employee wellbeing and productivity
  • Care settings – helping staff provide better support for people with asthma

All sessions are one hour long, and can be delivered in person or online, depending on your needs. Please note, however, that online sessions are encouraged, as it allows for more flexibility and availability for our staff.

What’s covered in the sessions?

Our sessions can cover the following:

  • What is asthma?
  • Symptoms & diagnosis
  • Treatments & medications
  • Triggers
  • Self-management strategies
  • What to do in an asthma flare-up (attack)
  • Lifestyle factors
  • Asthma in children
  • Asthma in adults

We are committed to supporting all communities. Free or discounted sessions are available for certain qualifying organisations, including those:
