This year's annual Michael ‘Birdie’ Melia Sr. Memorial Cup which helps raise vital funds for the Asthma Society, will take place on the 11th of November at 2pm in Moystown GAA Pitch, Belmont, Co. Offaly
Two teams, both under 12’s, Ferbane/Belmont and Skehana, will compete in a hurling match for the cup to raise funds and asthma awareness. The cup is in memory of Michael 'Birdie' Melia.
Entry to the event will cost €5 at the gate and there will be a raffle on the day. Last year, the match raised over €1,200.
The Asthma Society would once again like to say a huge thanks to the Melia family for organising this event on behalf of all the people with asthma across Ireland.
